Beazer Deeds DFW Lots the Day Dream Finders Closes $2.2B Buyout
The day Dream Finders closed its $2.2B purchase of Beazer, Collin and Denton County deeds moved Beazer lots in Celina and Denton County to MRP HDFB LLC.
Beazer Homes Texas LP deeded lots in Collin and Denton counties to MRP HDFB LLC on Oct. 20, 2026. That is the same day Dream Finders Homes announced it had closed its purchase of Beazer Homes, valued at about $2.2 billion including assumed debt.
Why it matters
Lot ownership in Celina and Denton County is changing hands the day the deal closed. Land sellers, lot developers and trade partners with Beazer contracts in North Texas should confirm which entity now holds title before the next takedown or draw.
Dream Finders’ closing release, filed with the SEC, says Beazer shareholders received $33.50 a share in cash and Beazer stock was delisted from the NYSE. The company calls the combination the nation’s sixth-largest homebuilder and expects more than $100 million in annual run-rate cost synergies.
The numbers
The Collin County deed, instrument 2026000139451, was recorded at 11:03 a.m. on Oct. 20, 2026. The county index lists 145 parcels on it, led by lots in Enclave at Legacy Hills Phase 1 in Celina.
The Denton County special warranty deed, instrument 121824, was recorded at 10:50 a.m. the same day. The index lists 2 parcels and refers to the instrument for the property list.
Texas deeds carry no sale price, so neither record shows what was paid. Neither names the owners of MRP HDFB LLC. We cannot say from the deeds whether it is a Dream Finders entity or an outside buyer.
