Ken Griffin Reportedly Buying Mana's Wynwood Complex
The Real Deal reports Ken Griffin is buying Moishe Mana's 30-acre Wynwood complex for $700M-$1B+, a deal both sides denied in January.
Ken Griffin is reportedly buying Moishe Mana’s Wynwood complex in Miami. The Real Deal reported on August 27, citing sources, that the majority of the deal has already closed and the sale is expected to be completed by December. The same sources put the price between $700 million and more than $1 billion, which would rank among the largest property sales in Miami history. Griffin and Mana publicly denied talks of the same $700 million sale as recently as January.
Why it matters
A deal of this size would hand the Citadel founder control of roughly 30 acres in the heart of Wynwood, a neighborhood where he has already been building a footprint through office and condo purchases. Mana Wynwood is not vacant land: it is Moishe Mana’s convention center campus, the site that has hosted The Real Deal’s own Miami Real Estate Forum. If Griffin closes on it, he would control one of the last large contiguous assemblages in a neighborhood where a parcel this size rarely trades, giving him outsized influence over how Wynwood’s next phase of office, retail and residential development gets built.
The numbers
Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser records show one of the complex’s core folios, 01-3125-074-0010 at 318 NW 23rd Street, still listed to Mannigan Holdings LLC, an entity with a Jersey City, New Jersey mailing address, as of this week. That single parcel carries a 2026 market value of $80.3 million on 379,955 square feet of land, and its last recorded sale transaction dates to 2010. No deed transferring the property to Griffin, Citadel or any Griffin-linked entity had been recorded as of August 29. Separately, Griffin and Goldman Properties closed on the nearby 545Wyn office building for more than $180 million in January, and a World Red Eye report that same month first put the $700 million Mana Wynwood figure on record.
What’s next
The Real Deal reported the deal is expected to wrap by December, but until a deed is recorded, the sale remains unconfirmed. Mana declined to comment on the August report, and a Griffin spokesperson had previously stood by the January denial. Watch the Miami-Dade County Clerk’s official records for a deed naming Mannigan Holdings LLC as grantor, which would be the first public confirmation the transaction has actually closed.
