1900 West Loop South office tower posted for Nov. 3 trustee sale

The Galleria-area tower is one row in the countywide Nov. 3 list. A posting is not a sale, and the lender can still cancel or the owner can still cure.

A Notice of Trustee’s Sale, FRCL-2026-7484, recorded Oct. 8, 2026 with the Harris County Clerk, puts the 21-story office tower at 1900 West Loop South, Houston, TX 77027 on the Nov. 3, 2026 foreclosure list. The grantor is CCI-MBM XVI, LP.

Why it matters

For developers, brokers and lenders watching Houston, this is a Galleria-area office tower, not a suburban strip. It is one row in our countywide Nov. 3 trustee-sale tally, and a sale would set a price signal for office space west of downtown. Investors can start sizing a bid now, and tenants weighing a renewal should know a lender has posted the building.

Texas forecloses without a court. A lender uses the power of sale in its deed of trust, so the public record is the clerk’s trustee-sale notice, not a lawsuit. A posting is not a sale: the lender can cancel or postpone, and the owner can cure or negotiate before Nov. 3, 2026. We name no operating brand because no record we pulled ties one to the owner.

The numbers

Item Record
Clerk notice FRCL-2026-7484, recorded Oct. 8, 2026
Property 1900 West Loop South, Houston, TX 77027
Grantor CCI-MBM XVI, LP
Sale date Nov. 3, 2026 (first Tuesday)
Size 21 stories; 408,862 sq ft per the Global Holdings Management Group listing, which also gives 411,243 sq ft in another field
Ground lease Listing says the property was acquired subject to a ground lease running through 2068
Owner filing TABS2023000568: CCI-MBM XVI, LP, $334,000, 8,034 sq ft renovation, Suite 650

What we could not verify: the notice is a scanned image, and our read of it returned no usable text, so we report no loan balance, lender or appraised value. The size figures come from a property listing, not an appraisal record, and the listing’s two square-footage numbers disagree. The listing does not name the owner, so we do not link the tower to any brand.

What’s next

Foreclosure sales in Harris County run on the first Tuesday of the month between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. CT; the next is Nov. 3, 2026. Watch the clerk’s index for a cancellation or a postponement before then, and for a substitute trustee’s deed afterward. If the sale goes forward, the deed will show the buyer and, in many cases, a credit bid, which would be the first public price signal for the tower.
