Bank of America lends up to $11M on Kingwood hotel site

Houston Kingwood Hotel LLC pledged a Kingwood hotel site to Bank of America N.A. to secure up to $11.0 million, according to a deed of trust recorded with the Montgomery County Clerk on Oct. 13, 2026. The instrument, No. 2026109034, covers two parcels in Reserve A of the Insignia Kingwood Development plat, in Houston’s Kingwood community on the Harris-Montgomery county line.

Why it matters

The plat name points to a known hotel. A 2023 Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation TABS record lists Insignia Kingwood Development LP as owner of the Kingwood Courtyard at 130 N. Park Plaza Dr., filed for a balcony removal and roof-bracing job. The deed itself does not name a hotel brand or say whether Insignia still controls the borrower. For lenders and brokers working Houston hotel debt, it is a fresh bank placement on an existing Kingwood hospitality asset.
