Continental Homes of Texas has a 404-unit family development called The Silo moving toward construction at 7623 SW Loop 410 in San Antonio, with a state-registered cost of $73.5 million and 17 city building permits issued on Oct. 22.
Why it matters
Four hundred units on the Southwest Side’s Loop 410 corridor is a large single-site delivery for Bexar County housing. The state filing describes the project as privately funded, on private land, for private use, so there is no public subsidy line to track. Permits already in hand mean this has moved past planning, and it adds to the multifamily pipeline we follow in the San Antonio market.

The numbers
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation’s accessibility registry (TABS) lists project TABS2026025072, registered July 13, 2026. It names Continental Homes of Texas, with an address on North Loop 1604 East in San Antonio, as the owner. Its scope calls for one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units across 15 residential buildings, plus a clubhouse, a pool, two playgrounds and a bus shelter. The estimated cost is $73,500,000 on 801,653 sq ft, with a start date of Oct. 5, 2026 and completion listed as Oct. 5, 2028. The registry shows the review as complete.
The City of San Antonio’s issued-permit data shows permit COM-BLG-PMT26-40200497 plus 16 sibling commercial new-building permits at the same address, all submitted July 24 and issued Oct. 22 in Council District 4. The combined declared valuation is $88.66 million across 524,338 sq ft. A declared valuation is the applicant’s stated job value on the permit. It is not a sale price or a loan amount, and it will not match the state estimate, which is measured differently.
What’s next
The registry lists construction running to October 2028, so deliveries may be staged over that span. We have not seen a recorded loan or financing for the site, and we will report one only if the Bexar County clerk’s record shows it. Watch for inspection activity and any leasing announcement under the project name.
