Lake Travis marina heads to a Nov. 3 trustee sale

A Lake Travis marina property is posted for the Nov. 3, 2026 trustee sale. The Travis County Clerk notice, instrument 202641339, was filed Oct. 6, which leaves 28 days between posting and the auction. The clerk index lists the borrower as Highland Lakes Marina Lake Travis, LLC. It was one line in our count of 112 Nov. 3 notices. This is the closer look.

Why it matters

For a developer or marina operator with capital, the Nov. 3 date is a fixed deadline to underwrite against. Trustee sales are cash and as-is, and the clerk notice states no price or loan balance, so any bid has to rest on your own numbers. Agents should know the borrower can still pull it before the sale.

The numbers

• The notice enforces a deed of trust recorded as instrument 2021061851, a 2021 filing, so the loan is roughly five years old.
• The legal description covers Lake Travis Subdivision No. 1, Lots 8 through 15, 64 through 67, 69 through 74 and part of Lot 68, 18 full lots and part of a 19th, plus Robert Foster Survey Abstracts 285 and 290.
• The clerk index does not show a lender, and we state no dollar amount because the record carries none.
• The Comptroller lists Highland Lakes Marina Lake Travis, LLC, registered Feb. 23, 2021 and active. It also lists Highland Lakes Marina, Inc., registered in 1989, now inactive after its franchise tax status was involuntarily ended. No record we read shows how the two are related, and we do not assert one.

What’s next

The sale is set for the first Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026. A borrower can stop it by paying, reinstating or filing bankruptcy before then, so a posted notice is not a guaranteed sale.
