The City of Houston filed a $16.9M project registration for a new maintenance facility at 5216 N. McCarty St., according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) TABS filing registered Oct. 26, 2026.

The filing titles the job “New TDO Building at McCarty” and lists it as a maintenance facility. It names Huitt-Zollars Inc. as the design firm of record. No private developer appears on the record.
