Perry Homes took 11 Montgomery County lot deeds in eight days
We counted 33 deeds to homebuilder entities recorded Sept. 29 to Oct. 8, 2026. Perry Homes holds 11 of them, Weekley Homes four and Westin Homes three.
Perry Homes took 11 lot deeds from six sellers in Montgomery County between Sept. 29 and Oct. 6, 2026, according to the county clerk’s index. That is a third of the 33 deeds to homebuilder entities we counted there from Sept. 29 to Oct. 8.
Why it matters
A special warranty deed from a land developer to a builder is the moment finished lots change hands, and it usually comes weeks before starts. Builders, land sellers and agents can read it before a model home opens.
Perry Homes bought in eight communities from six sellers: four deeds came from Shea Homes Houston, and two each from CC SCOA III LP and JDS Old Plantersville Road LLC. Builder-to-builder sales are part of the flow: Shea Homes Houston deeded Perry Homes lots in Woodhavyn, Wildtree and Evergreen.

The numbers
Method: every deed in the Montgomery County Clerk index recorded Sept. 29 to Oct. 8, 2026 with a homebuilder entity as grantee, one deed per instrument. No deed shows a price in the index, so we report counts and record IDs only. Lots are not totaled because legal descriptions repeat lot lists.

Other builders in the same window: Weekley Homes took four deeds, in Artavia S29 (2026103960), Kresston S10, Crighton Cove S1 and Artavia S40 (2026107691). Westin Homes took three, in Artavia S43 (2026104208), Woodlands Hills S41 and Colton S4. Tri Pointe Homes Texas took two Woodson’s Reserve deeds on Oct. 5. Davidson, Starlight, Highland and Toll entities took two each, and Beazer, Newmark, Harkor, NuWay and Partners in Building one each.
