Tarrant County’s constable list for Nov. 3, 2026 shows 24 properties for sale and 5 withdrawn before the sale. The Oct. 6 list is the warning for anyone planning around that number: of 34 properties listed, 31 were canceled and 3 sold.

Why it matters

A tax-sale list is not a pipeline until the sale happens. Our count of the Oct. 6 Tarrant list, with each property counted once by account number, shows 91 percent of listings never reached a bid. For a builder or investor in the Tarrant County side of Dallas-Fort Worth, the Nov. 3 count of 24 is a ceiling on supply, not a forecast.

The numbers

Counts below come from the constable’s own lists, deduplicated on account number. Several accounts share a cause number, so counting causes would understate the properties.

  • Oct. 6 list: 34 properties. 31 canceled (adjudged value $6,254,258), 3 sold (adjudged value $515,695). The sold rows are in Watauga, Fort Worth and Azle.
  • Nov. 3 list: 29 properties. 24 for sale (adjudged value $3,145,210) and 5 withdrawn ($1,356,024). 19 of the 24 for-sale rows are in Fort Worth.
  • Nov. 3 for-sale rows range from $14,625 to $380,495 in adjudged value. None is flagged commercial. By state code, 17 are single-family (A) and 7 are vacant lots (C1).

The lists do not publish a minimum bid, so we do not give one. Adjudged value is the court-set value, not a price a buyer will pay. Texas tax deeds carry no recorded sale price, so no price per sq ft can be derived here.

What’s next

The sale is set for Nov. 3, 2026, and the list will keep changing until then; withdrawals are common after owners pay or set up a plan. Check the constable’s Nov. 3 list the week of the sale and compare it to this count. For the Dallas County side of the Oct. 6 results, see our first-Tuesday count, and for the wider region, Dallas.
