Thirty-two properties are still set to sell for unpaid taxes in Dallas County on Nov. 3, 2026. Their tax judgments set adjudged value at $5,660,780 combined, while the opening bids add up to $1,784,526.

Why it matters

A tax sale opens at the tax debt plus costs, not at market value. That gap is the screen for investors and agents. Of the 32 live accounts, 30 open below the court-adjudged value, and 13 open below a quarter of it.

None of the 35 accounts is flagged commercial in the listing. Twenty-three of the live properties are in the city of Dallas.

The numbers

The county listing, as of Oct. 14, 2026, shows 35 accounts after we count each property once. Three are canceled, leaving 32 live. Adjudged value is $6,671,210 across all 35.

  • Dallas: 23 live properties. Irving: 6. Lancaster: 2. DeSoto: 1.
  • Median opening bid: $27,419, against a median adjudged value of $122,535.
  • 1604 Driskill Dr., Irving (cause TX-24-00373): $898,960 adjudged, $79,768 opening bid.
  • 2800 Ames Rd., Lancaster (cause TX-25-01182): $504,020 adjudged, $49,598 opening bid.
  • 6826 Victoria Ave., Dallas (cause TX-22-01413): $437,820 adjudged, $188,589 opening bid.

Two accounts open above their adjudged value: 11274 Drummond Dr. in Dallas and 3140 Helmet St. in Irving. The minimum bid there exceeds the adjudged value in the judgment.

What’s next

Bidding runs Nov. 3, 2026, and more accounts may be canceled before then, as happened in Tarrant County’s Nov. 3 sale. Check the county listing again the week of the sale.

Opening bid is not the price. Competing bids can rise well above it, and buyers should confirm redemption rights and liens before bidding. For the mortgage-side picture, see the first-Tuesday trustee sale count. More coverage is on the Dallas page.
