H-E-B plans $32.75M remodel of its Potranco Road store in San Antonio

H-E-B Grocery Co LP has registered a $32.75 million remodel of its store at 10718 Potranco Road in San Antonio with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, according to a TABS project registration filed Oct. 30.

The filing, TABS2027004774, covers HEB Store #0085 under the project name “HEB San Antonio (41) Remodel.” It lists a 5,000 square foot remodel of the existing store, designed by pb2 architecture + engineering of Rogers, Arkansas. Construction is estimated to run from Sept. 6, 2027 to Dec. 4, 2028.

Why it matters

A TDLR registration is the state accessibility filing an owner submits before construction, and the $32.75 million is the estimated cost H-E-B reported. That is a large budget for a 5,000 square foot scope inside an existing store.
