The closing follows a June zoning vote clearing the automotive group's flagship store near the Dallas North Tollway.

Mac Haik Celina Realty Ltd closed on 24.68 acres along the Dallas North Tollway corridor in Celina, picking up the land behind its parent group’s approved flagship Chevrolet store, according to a deed recorded with the Collin County Clerk on Oct. 27, 2026.

Why it matters

Celina’s stretch of the tollway is where growth is pushing north from Frisco. An auto group buying its own land, rather than leasing, signals it plans to hold the site long term. For builders and site-work contractors, a 24.68-acre dealership pad is a sizable commercial job coming to the corridor. More land deals are on the Dallas-Fort Worth market hub.

The numbers

The deed, instrument 2026000142582, shows Thomas Mosey and Julie Mosey, as trustees of the Trust Agreement of Thomas Mosey, as grantors, with Mac Haik Celina Realty Ltd as grantee. The tract spans 24.68 acres across the Gray F.D. Survey, Abstract 361, and the Ragsdale J. Survey, Abstract 734. The instrument was dated Oct. 26, 2026, and recorded the following day. Texas deeds do not carry a sale price, so no purchase figure is disclosed in the record. The acreage lines up closely with the 25-acre site Celina’s City Council approved for a Mac Haik Chevrolet dealership in a 6-0 vote on June 9, 2026, when the city amended a 2017 planned development to allow the dealership use. The store moved from the DNT Overlay’s high-rise subzone to its suburban subzone at the council’s request. A Chevrolet representative told the council it was designed as a flagship location.

What’s next

No building permit or TDLR TABS filing has surfaced yet for construction on the tract. With the land now in hand, the next public record to watch is a TDLR registration or a Collin County building permit naming a general contractor and construction cost, which would mark the start of site work on the dealership.
