Paige Bellissimo is president and partner of Wellington Lifestyle Partners (WLP), which is developing The Wellington, a private club community in Wellington, Florida. The company’s sales debut is covered in our The Wellington sales debut. WLP’s release names Douglas McMahon as CEO and does not mention her; this profile draws on her published interview and earlier reports.

Why it matters

In The Executive Magazine interview, she describes her duties as land development, capital structuring, architectural coordination and long-term strategy. HorseSport described her in 2023 as managing the development process. She is a local: the interview says she moved to Wellington at 10 and has lived there more than 20 years, which matters in a village where approvals depend on residents and their reaction to growth.

The numbers

Per the interview, she holds a Boston College undergraduate degree and a 2022 Wharton MBA. She worked at a family venture in North Carolina and as an analyst in financial litigation consulting, and spent her MBA at a private-equity real estate firm that the interview does not name. The interview also credits her with co-founding the Great Charity Challenge as a teenager; its two stated totals conflict, so we omit them.

What’s next

The interview lists WLP’s projects as The Marketplace, The Wellington, Wingrove Academy and Wellington International. For The Wellington, the developer says the first homes and club amenities are slated for late 2028. We have asked the company for an interview and will update this profile with her own account of the project, its approvals and how the first sales are going.
