Lennar and Friendswood take 15 Crockett Meadows lots near Conroe
The legal description lists 15 lots across Blocks 1 and 2. The deed carries no price.
Lennar’s Texas land and construction entity and Friendswood Development Company, Lennar’s land arm, took title to a block of lots in Crockett Meadows, a Montgomery County subdivision with Conroe addresses. The Montgomery County Clerk recorded the General Warranty Deed (instrument 2026107907, 7 pages) on Oct. 9, 2026. The grantor is Crockett Meadows LLC.
Why it matters
Finished-lot takedowns by a national builder show where it plans to start homes. This one is small, 15 lots in a single section, so it reads as near-term lot inventory, not a new land play.
It follows the Harris County filings by the same pair that we covered in Friendswood Development files six Harris County deeds. For other builder lot activity in the county, see Montgomery County builder lot deeds. More Houston coverage is on the Houston market page.
The numbers
The legal description covers Crockett Meadows Section 3, Abstract 635. Block 1 lists Lots 15 to 21 and 34 to 36, which is 10 lots. Block 2 lists Lots 10, 11 and 18 to 20, which is 5 lots. That is 15 lots in total by our count.
Texas deeds carry no sale price, and this one shows no recorded amount, so we cannot give a price per lot. Both grantees are named on the deed, and the record does not split the lots between them.
What’s next
The record does not say how the lots are divided between the two grantees or when homes start. Watch for residential building permits on these lots and for further deeds out of Crockett Meadows LLC. We will report either when they appear in the record.
